2023 Pearcey Medal

The Pearcey Medal, Australia’s most prestigious annual individual award in the ICT industry, is in its 25th Year. Traditionally the Pearcey Medal recognises an individual who has a distinguished lifetime of achievement and contribution to the development and growth of the ICT industry in Australia. However, in 2023 the Foundation made an exception in awarding the Medal to two brothers, Aidan and David Tudehope.

The 2023 Pearcey Medal was presented on Monday 30 October 2023 at the Pearcey National Award gala dinner in Sydney. The presentation was made by Wayne Fitzsimmons OAM, Chairman and Jordan Green AM, Secretary, of the Pearcey Foundation.

David and Aiden, two outstanding pioneers of the Australian ICT industry, founded Macquarie Technology Group in 1992 when they were both in the twenties, not long after graduation. These two entrepreneurs have guided their company’s development to where today it is a fully integrated carrier, supplying voice, mobile, data networks & managed hosting solutions to business & government users in Australia & Asia. Macquarie Group is a major provider to government whose customers include the ATO.
