Each year, the Foundation makes both national and state awards.
The Pearcey National Awards recognise outstanding achievement in Australian ICT including the Pearcey Medal, the Pearcey Hall of Fame and the Pearcey Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Pearcey State Awards recognise upcoming individuals in each Australian State who have demonstrated outstanding professional, innovative and business achievements in the field of ICT.
Since our inception in 1998, we have recognised more than 220 outstanding individuals around Australia.
Nominations can be received at any time.
The awardees are selected by various state-based and national committees.
The 2000 Pearcey Medal was presented to Mr George Kepper by Senator Richard Alston, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, before an audience of over 300 senior I.T. industry executives at the Hotel Sofitel in Melbourne, on 31 August 2000.
The 2000 Victorian Pearcey Award was presented to Rick Harvey at the Australian Computer Society Conference at Lorne on 27th March 2000.
The 1999 Pearcey Medal was presented to Mr Trevor Robinson A.M. by Senator Richard Alston, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, before an audience of over 500 senior I.T. industry executives from the Asia-Pacific at the ASOCIO dinner in Parliament House Canberra on November 23rd.
The September 1999, the New South Wales Pearcey Award was presented to Scott Gazzard.
