2025 Pearcey Round Table

At the beginning of this year, the Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, challenged the Pearcey Foundation Members and Friends to research ideas that address "How AI can be used to improve ACT Government Services."

After a workshop earlier in the year, facilitated by collaborators AI CoLab, the ACT Chapter of the Pearcey Foundation has developed a response to that challenge and will present it to the Chief Minister at the Round Table.

The primary role of this year's Round Table will be to flesh out some of the ideas that were raised in our earlier workshop and demonstrate the power of AI to facilitate that activity into a meaningful product immediately.

The Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, will present the 2025 ACT Chief Minister's Pearcey Entrepreneur Award. The ACT Chapter of the Pearcey Foundation will present its response to the 2025 Chief Minister's Challenge, supplemented by the output of the round table's discussion.

At the conclusion of the event, we hope to have a presentation by a student group from University of Canberra of a working AI chatbot that provides guidance on Strata Management matters, as a proof of concept for similar chatbots that might be deployed by the ACT Government.
